I completed my Undergraduate studies here and began my research in tropical algebra during my Masters course. I went on to continue my research through my PhD.

My favourite way to relax is to play pool or snooker. I was the club captain for the University of Birmingham's Snooker and Pool Society (SAPSoc) for the 2015/16 academic year. I still help out the society now and play in competitions when I have the time!

I started playing chess early 2015 and now I'm hooked! The combinatorial nature of the game is fascinating and frustrating in equal measure - the perfect challenge...

Being fit is important to me and I'll try any sport. A few favourites of mine include: running, cycling, swimming and rock climbing. In the past couple of years, I completed my first sprint triathlons and I'm excited to do more in the future!
